Under the motto “MORE THAN EDUCATION,” the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola held the Third open day of UKLO and FRIENDS on May 10, 2024, this year featuring the colors of the European University Alliance COLOURS.

The event took place at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality – Ohrid, with the presence of students, professors, high school students, public institutions, representatives from the business community, the Chamber of Commerce, the civil sector, organizations and supporters of UKLO.

During the Open Day, two panels were held: “Students Can” and “More Than Education,” moderated by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jasmina Bunevska Talevska. In the exhibition section – Career Day, UKLO units presented their educational offerings, mobility opportunities, projects, laboratories, programs and centers of UKLO, while regional companies provided information about scholarship and employment opportunities.

At the Open Day of UKLO and Friends, student Eva Neshkoska from the Faculty of Education – Bitola received a commendation for being a talented student and UKLO Ambassadors of student athletes were also awarded certificates of appreciation.

The Rector, Prof. Dr. Igor Nedelkovski, stated that the event truly reflects the regional character of the University and announced that a Memorandum of Cooperation with the municipality of Ohrid will be signed in the near future.

The Open Day was organized by uniting the capacities and resources of the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola through the Career, Alumni and Lifelong Learning Center of UKLO.
